Ketsueki placed her hand on Saizo's shoulder and spoke
"We all have our fears, some of them are small ones...the others..." she stoped and lowered her eyes a bit hiding them behind her hair.
"The others, are ones that we must attemp to overcome..."
Ketsueki had ruined her mood with her own phase of asistance. It brought back memories of those she had lost. Her little fears were of certain snakes, and even bee's she hated to admit...bad experinces led to that....but her worst fear was somthing most would be willing to give up to protect someone of for their country. She was afriad of death. No, she wasnt afraid of dying for someone, it was just the thought of being dead that kept her will to live stronger...her will to live was merely a fear of not living. Somthing which she was ashamed of, for she had never really found a peace in the world she had lived in. Everywhere she turned people were in pain, suffereing. The only times she was happy was when others had smiles on their faces. That is what she fought for...but was a mere fear of death enogh to keep her will to live strong enough for the battle soon to come? She did not know.
Ketsueki walked on past Saiso and sat on a stool on the far end of the bar area. A man passed her a large cup of sake and she slowly began to drink it down.

Saizou took a while to regain his bearings, still fearful that piggy would be lurking nearby. Some fears have to be overcome Yes, he was scared silly by pigs. There was something else.
He did not know if he ought to be thankful or terrified of being cut off from his clan, alone. If only he could find his brother in Tibet... somehow...
First he needed a new sheath for his kodachi... didn't the lady mention that she knows someone he could get one from?
He stole a glance at the Dalai Lama and his group, then at Ketsueki. Or should he attempt to volunteer his services to protecting His Holiness?
